Hi, my name is Maia. I'm from Georgia - a small country on the Black Sea coast between Russia and Turkey. I've been living in La Paz since 1998. Before that, I lived in Moscow for four years, where I was working on my post-graduate studies. My native language is Georgian, but I also speak Russian, English, Spanish, and French. I like teaching; I've been teaching for 11 years. I also like learning: new cultures, new languages, and new places. Among the things I enjoy most are: Georgian music and food, Russian literature, swimming and skiing, and having fun with my kids. I hope to meet people who are interested in learning a new language, as well as to share some experiences and knowledge.

Hi guys, I'm Jacob, from the United States, but have also lived in England and Bolivia. As you may be able to tell from the photo, I love to trek in both jungle & mountain environments. As far as languages are concerned, I can speak Spanish in addition to English. Since I'm an American, I can really help improve my student's pronunciation and help prepare them for the TOEFL.
